Christmas is a time of great joy.
For a Christian, what’s the reason for that joy?
It’s all because of Christ.
God knew the one thing that we all needed, and that was a Saviour.
Without Jesus, we’d still be in the dark.
Without Jesus, we’d be lost and alone because of our sin.
But God gave the one gift we all needed, and that was Christ.
Jesus came to put right all that’s gone wrong in this world.
Jesus came to bring light into the darkness.
The Bible says Jesus was born, died on the cross, and rose again.
This is our great joy—to have forgiveness of sins and renewal of life through Christ.
And this is a joy that everyone is allowed to share in.
To those who believe in him, Jesus gives light and life, today and forever.
Worship him.
And begin to share in the Christmas joy!
